I just read your piece on Jean Vanier at the Register page and want to say that I found it very moving, a heart-felt, intelligent, and most Christian response to the saddening news about a man rightly venerated for his great work and now discovered to be a sinner like all the rest of us. Let us pray for an outpouring of the Spirit: there are a lot of people who will need healing and comfort.
I am pleased to make your acquaintance and also to learn that you are the mother of ten children. I myself am one of twelve children. Recently a few of us were commenting on the great blessing it has been, and still is, to be part of such a large family.
