Today's humor serving comes courtesy of my first weekly column with the newspaper, Island Park News! "Fractured Mommy Tales!"
I will now shamelessly plug...myself.
Leave a comment for them if it makes you laugh. Thanks!
I tried to make it a link but no dice. So cut and paste and I'll try to learn what I need to do.

P.S. We're actually going to try to enact that plan. Don't tell Batgirl. (Scroll down to see).
Linky tutorial.
ReplyDeleteI should start charging for all the blog fixit advice I've been handing out lately!
first, copy the web adress you want to link to. I highlight the address and then hit control c to copy.
in your blog post type the words that you want to become the link. a lot of people use "click here" for example.
then highlight "click here" while it's highlighted click on the icon that looks like a globe in brackets says "insert link" when you leave the cursor on it. If your popups are blocked you'll get a bar across the top telling you so, click on that bar and there will be an option to "temporarily allow pop-ups" click on it.
then, making sure that "click here" is still highlighted click on that globe icon again and you'll get a little box with http:// in it. erase the http://. then hit control-v to paste the website address in the box.
hit enter and presto chango you have transformed the words "click here" in to a magic link to that address.
Price, 1 bag peanut M&M's.
